Make a Simple Sketchbook for Mixed Media
In this course you'll learn how to make three simple sketchbooks:
- a folded concertina/accordion sketchbook
- a folded zine-style sketchbook
- a single signature sketchbook with a stitched spine
I'll show you lots of inspirational examples from my own work, and I'll suggest some techniques and themes for you to try.

Some pretty ways to finish your sketchbook with ribbons or ties, and ways to use tags, text and simple mark-marking to create a unique sketchbook

About me
I'm a mixed media and textile artist from the UK, and I'm looking forward to sharing some tips and techniques with you.
I've been working (or playing) in sketchbooks for as long as I can remember, because they help me to learn and grow as an artist. If they do that for me, then they can do that for you too.
I believe that everyone is creative, and in this short course I hope to help you discover the joy of sketchbooks.
Join me in this little voyage of discovery and have some fun learning some simple techniques that will help you to develop a regular creative practice.
