2025 Intuitive Daily Stitching Templates
This is EXACTLY THE SAME as the template in my online shop. Please don't purchase it twice.
This is an 18-page A4-size PDF containing notes and photographs covering how to use the templates for a daily intuitive stitching practice for 2025, how to transfer the designs to your fabric, and some very brief suggestions for stitching, plus the twelve monthly template pages.
The templates for 2025 are a sort of cross between the 2022 grids and the 2024 map. The monthly block itself has wavy edges, and the daily segments are irregular shapes so there are no uniformly measured areas or straight lines.
The twelve monthly pages for 2025 will fit together lengthways or widthways, giving you some choice about the format of your daily stitching.
You can join the monthly templates along the long edge or the short edge, or you can place them together in a block formation to create a large rectangle. Alternatively you can stitch each month as a standalone block and then either stitch the monthly blocks together however you wish, or you could make the separate pages into a cloth book (there is a blog post with brief directions for that here). As always, there are no rules and it's entirely your choice. The amount of fabric you will need will depend on the configuration you choose. You can easily estimate the quantity by laying out the templates in your chosen arrangement and then measuring the total area, adding a couple of inches all round to allow for hemming or seams.
The templates are designed to be printed on A4 paper, or 8.5” x 11” letter paper. Please ensure that your printer is set to '100% scale' or 'fill entire page'. Alternatively you can choose to print them at a different size if you want the templates to be bigger or smaller.
You don't have to use the templates for daily stitching, of course; you could just make an embroidery sampler using the templates as a guide.
Please note, I do not explain in this document how to work any of the stitches, nor do I tell you what stitches to use. This is a template, not a kit. If you are an absolute beginner and need to know how to do (for example) running stitch or couching, you will first need to refer to one of the many embroidery books or online videos and tutorials that talk you through getting started. You might also consider signing up for my online course here on Teachable, Intuitive Daily Stitching, which demonstrates several basic stitch types that you can practise and has information on choosing fabric and thread, and on maintaining a mindful daily stitch practice.
These templates are different from those in my 2022, 2023, and 2024 stitch journal PDFs, so if you have already purchased those, this PDF will still offer some variety.
2025 templates for Intuitive Daily Stitching
Like my other PDF templates, this is designed to accompany my Intuitive Daily Stitching course here on Teachable. The PDF contains the twelve monthly templates for 2025, plus some brief notes on transferring the designs to your fabric, and suggestions for completing your stitching.
You can join the monthly blocks however you choose. The templates will tessellate both ways so you can make a long strip, a large rectangle, or twelve separate samplers. If you want to make a long strip and turn it into a cloth book, there is a blog post giving brief directions for that here
